PAYS Handbook
U8 Division Details
The under eight division continues individual skill development and begins teaching team play concepts. The U8 division is split between boys and girls (i.e. not coed), and depending on the number of registered players, may be further divided into a U7 and U8 division. We begin the season with a meeting where you will get your packets with team rosters and other pertinent details. Check the Calendar for dates and locations.

Division Details
- Size 3 soccer ball.
- The game will consist of 2 20 minute halves.
- Small sided games. 5 v 5. (4 field and 1 goalie)
- Referees only used for the last 4 games.
- Team size be around 8 players on a team.
- The teams will practice only one night a week. The practice night is determined by the coach and field availability.
